Shape the future of the Village, help prioritize projects, give input on business attraction, art installations and design, event features (e.g. vendors, performers, presenters, specialized programming)
Participate in events as as a sponsor, vendor, presenter, performer, volunteer, and/or attendee.
Spread the word to others who, like you, appreciate The Village and will enjoy supporting the success and sustainability of events, projects, and programs.

HOW THE MONTCLAIR CARES CLUB BEGAN

In 2020, “We Care About You” was launched as a Village slogan to highlight how businesses were protecting the health and safety of staff & patrons. Window decals in Village stores were displayed as a reminder that the business owners “Care” about the community and that they value you, their customers, clients, neighbors, and friends. The Village business owners have a longstanding history of community service, donations for schools, event and team sponsorships, and the dedication to meet your needs with professionalism, expertise, and care, from local owners and employees that you have come to know and trust.

WHAT DOES THE MONTCLAIR CARES CLUB DO?

The Montclair Cares Club works to create meaningful community connections, support cultural expression, and improve the overall quality of life for people in our area. Our immediate focus is to fund and support the safety ambassadors for our Shop Safe Program. We also focus on free, family-friendly outdoor events (ie., Montclair Village Beer, Wine & Music Festival, Montclair Village Holiday Stroll, outdoor movie nights, and the Montclair Art Walk), including additional community-building activities yet to be launched. The goal is to include some—or all—of the following features:

Become an annual donor ($120 per household for 12 months; membership is tax deductible). Checks are payable to Montclair Village Association, and can be mailed to: Montclair Village Association c/o MCC 1980 Mountain Blvd., #205, Oakland, CA 94611 (With your check, include the information requested below in the donation form.)
